Our client's current Financial Controller, a supportive right-hand to the President, is seeking their successor. They're looking for a candidate ready to take full ownership of the accounting function and partner with the President on key financial decisions.
If you're well-versed in the complete accounting cycle and comfortable preparing financial statements and budgets for an SME, you could be the ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities
As a Financial Controller SME, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the complete accounting cycle and preparing internal financial statements.
- Ensuring the maintenance and management of inventory, and pricing of goods sold.
- Handling payroll management.
- Performing monthly financial analyses and explaining results.
- Preparing the annual budget.
- Supervising the accounting technician.
- Generating ad-hoc reports for the CEO.
- Managing annual financial information and taxes with the external accounting firm.
Qualifications
For this Financial Controller SME role, we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a CPA designation is a strong asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Anglophone with functional French (international activities).
- Experience in the wholesale sector is an asset.
