Responsibilities
As the financial controller and coach for the accounting team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Full oversight of the accounting cycle and direct management of a team of two accountants.
- Rigorous preparation of month-end closes, and individual and consolidated financial statements for all entities.
- In-depth analysis of financial performance by project and assessment of operational profitability.
- Proactive management of external audit processes and coordination of complex tax files.
- Optimization of cash flow and strategic management of financing to support growth.
- Acting as the technology lead for continuous process improvement and the implementation of new ERP systems.
- Analysis and management of transfer pricing issues within an international context.
Qualifications
For this Financial Controller role, we are seeking an exceptional profile possessing the following qualifications:
- CPA designation required or similar.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in a public accounting firm (Big 4 strongly preferred).
- Experience with project accounting is a strong asset.
- Bilingualism is essential due to the company's international activities.
