Responsibilities
As a Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the financial management of the company, while actively participating in strategic initiatives and the continuous improvement of processes.
What you will do:
- Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and compliant operations.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance and the accuracy of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to provide accurate and timely information to management.
- Manage the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and efficiency of financial operations.
- Participate in the development of financial strategies and provide advice to management to support the company's growth and profitability.
- Optimize financial processes and support digital transformation projects.
- All other related tasks.
Qualifications
- University degree in finance or accounting with CPA title considered an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from financial data
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial standards.
- Exceptional communication in French and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and constantly changing environment
