Responsibilities
- Accounting and financial management: full bookkeeping, preparation of financial statements, tax filings, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Project analysis and monitoring: actual vs. budget cost comparison, profitability analysis, monitoring of work in progress and contractual holdbacks.
- Closings and audits: participation in monthly/annual closings and preparation of files for external audits.
- Process optimization: implementation of procedures, internal controls, and automation of tracking tools.
- Strategic collaboration: support to management in financial decision-making and supervision of the administrative department (accounting, payroll, general administration).
Qualifications
Profile sought:
- 3–6 years of experience in finance/accounting (construction or project management experience is a strong asset).
- Rigor, autonomy, and strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or CPA designation.
- French-speaking environment; bilingualism is an asset.
