Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversight of the full accounting cycle (AP/AR, payroll), month-end closes, and internal controls.
- Performance Analysis: Preparation of financial statements, budget variance analysis, and strategic support for management (margins, pricing).
- Cost & Inventory Control: Management of standard costs, inventory valuation, and collaboration with production and supply chain teams.
- Systems & Processes: ERP optimization and continuous improvement of workflow methodologies.
- Leadership: Management, mentoring, and professional development of the accounting team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Designation: CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification (preferred).
- Experience: 7 to 10+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading and managing a finance or accounting team.
- Industry Sector: Experience in the manufacturing sector and/or with technical products and processes.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Systems: Experience in developing financial processes and systems.
- Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Bilingualism: Proficiency in both French and English.
