As part of a team undergoing a major transformation, you will play a key role in the evolution of the FP&A function. you will join a dynamic environment where processes are currently being defined. Responsibilities
• Produce the full P&L and ensure rigorous monitoring of financial performance.
• Manage the monthly closing process while meeting all deadlines.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data for all generated reports.
• Maintain and evolve the analytical structure to reflect operational reality.
• Act as a strategic advisor to department managers to interpret financial results.
• Analyze and explain variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
• Challenge figures and assumptions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide concrete recommendations to support executive decision-making.
• Optimize and automate new system functionalities to increase team efficiency.
• Play a key role in the deployment of Power BI for the creation of interactive dashboards.
Qualifications
• CPA designation or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced mastery of Excel.
• Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, with international exposure.
Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to collaborate with and provide necessary support to other colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French.
