Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain insight-driven dashboards and metric frameworks tailored for diverse technical and business audiences
Analyze hands-on cloud cost and usage data, managing tag strategies, budgeting, forecasting, anomaly detection, and unit cost calculations
Partner closely with engineering and product teams to identify efficiency opportunities, implement cost optimizations, and track ongoing FinOps cadence
Translate complex technical data into clear narratives, advising teams on meaningful KPIs aligned with broader business objectives
Navigate ambiguous data environments to build initial datasets and metrics, iterating continuous improvements over time
Qualifications
5+ years of senior-level analytics experience with a strong focus on FinOps and cloud cost management
Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in at least two of the following technologies: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Power BI, or SQL
Proven ability to manage stakeholders, influence without authority, and present data-driven narratives to varied leadership levels
Expertise with cloud cost mechanics (tagging, allocation, unit metrics, cost optimization levers)
Nice to have: Experience with AWS CUR, Azure Cost Management exports, GCP Billing exports to BigQuery, Apptio, or specialized Snowflake/Databricks cost optimization tools
