Responsibilities
- Distribution, monitoring, and tracking of accounts assigned by your sales development representative/supervisor.
- Schedule pickup and delivery appointments if necessary
- Monitoring and follow-up by calling the senders and recipients for each shipment, during normal business hours and after business hours if necessary
- Maintain daily service levels with our clients and carriers
- Manage and control carrier costs
- Be responsible for preparing rates on behalf of your team and the business development representative
- Report problems, make suggestions to improve operations
- Facilitate communication, information, and coordination between our clients, operations, and the business development representative
- Approach and questioning/solicitation of senders and recipients for new business
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in logistics
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills
- Passion for the logistics industry
- Organized, detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment
