Responsibilities
As a Fleet Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Assign carriers, drivers, and equipment to ensure timely, complete, and accurate execution of customer requirements.
- Administer emergency "on-the-road" maintenance support to maximize equipment availability and uptime.
- Act as the central point of contact for fleet status, collecting and documenting operational data for KPI reports.
- Identify, document, and escalate process exceptions needed to meet customer expectations.
- Facilitate strong cross-shift communication to ensure smooth continuous operations.
- Recommend corrective actions to address performance or process gaps related to safety and compliance policies.
- Assist leadership with additional operational projects and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2+ years proven experience in a Fleet, Dispatch, or Logistics Coordinator role is required.
- High School Diploma or GED required (College or University degree preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with strong administrative and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shift hours, travel as necessary, and maintain regular, predictable, full-time attendance.
- Must have your own transportation, as this is not on a bus route.
