Automotive & Fleet Apprentice (2nd or 3rd Year) Modern Shop & Mobile Path
Are you a tech-savvy apprentice who wants more than just oil changes and brake pads?
We are looking for a 2nd or 3rd-year Apprentice to join a high-speed team where digital literacy is just as important as mechanical skill. Our workload is a dynamic 60% general automotive repair and 40% commercial fleet maintenance (up to 5500 series).
...
If you’re looking for a shop that balances a diverse range of passenger vehicles with the complexity of light-duty commercial assets, this is it.
Advantages
Scaled Wages: Competitive pay that increases as you progress through your NAIT modules.
Career Roadmapping: This is a permanent role designed to take you all the way to your Red Seal and beyond.
Autonomy: We reward problem-solvers. We provide the tech and the tools; you provide the solutions.
Responsibilities
Diverse Repairs: You won't get bored. One hour you're on a complex engine diagnostic for a sedan; the next, you're performing precision PMs on a commercial truck or trailer.
Direct Red Seal Mentorship: Work side-by-side with a Journeyman who explains the "why" behind the "how," ensuring you are technically superior when exam time rolls around.
Digital Excellence: We are a paperless shop. You’ll master Mitchell 1 OnDemand and cloud-based work orders. High-level computer fluency is a must.
Earn the Keys: We operate a mobile-first model. As you prove your technical and professional reliability, you’ll have the chance to move out of the bay and into your own mobile service truck.
Qualifications
Apprenticeship: Active 2nd or 3rd-year NAIT (or equivalent) enrollment.
Tech Native: You must be comfortable with digital diagnostic tools and workflow software.
Driver Status: Valid license with a clean abstract (required for future mobile eligibility).
Professionalism: Must pass a criminal record check and provide proof of apprenticeship enrollment.
Tooling: A personal basic toolset is required.
