Full Ownership of Your Work: Diagnose, repair, test, and report directly to operators to ensure full transparency and accountability.
Efficient Work Environment: Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace while helping manage parts and tool inventories effectively.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Tackling: Keeping Operations Running Seamlessly
Reporting to the Lead Mechanic, you’ll serve as the primary resource for inspecting, servicing, installing, and repairing our diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. Each day brings something new — here’s a glimpse of what your role entails:
Technical Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Take charge as the shop’s problem-solver. You’ll interpret work orders, conduct road and functional tests, and leverage diagnostic tools alongside hands-on expertise to identify mechanical and electrical faults in engines, transmissions, steering and suspension systems, braking assemblies, and advanced electronic controls.
Comprehensive Repairs & Component Overhauls: Manage everything from routine repairs to extensive rebuilds. You’ll repair, adjust, and rebuild diesel and gasoline engines, powertrains, generators, HVAC systems, and hydraulic systems, including drivetrain alignments and wheel-related calibrations.
Preventive Maintenance & Efficiency Maximization: Keep the fleet performing at its best by conducting scheduled inspections, tune-ups, and preventive maintenance routines — including detailed monthly assessments to minimize breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
Minor Bodywork & On-the-Go Support: Perform small-scale body repairs such as windshield, bumper, and trim fixes, and provide mobile service assistance to return vehicles to operation quickly when problems arise in the field.
