Responsibilities
• Delegate daily tasks in a fast-paced environment to a team of 7-8 employees.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate your team to achieve daily production goals.
• Oversee the production line, ensuring efficiency and adherence to all operational procedures.
• Must be able to multitask and have a great ability to prioritize work.
• Monitor product quality and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other food safety standards.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide on-the-job training and support to new and existing team members.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Ensure the team adheres to company values of work ethic, reliability, and sustainability.
Qualifications
• Must be forklift certified with a minimum of 1 year of recent experience.
• Dynamic energy to match the fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of food production processes and equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and record-keeping.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
• Proven knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other food safety protocols.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as required.
• Strong track record of reliability and a dedicated work ethic.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
