Responsibilities
Analyze historical sales trends, promotional plans, and gather market intelligence to develop reliable demand forecasts.
Assign and maintain forecasting models using statistical techniques and tools.
Prepare monthly forecasts for items, customers, and the sales team to ensure production aligns with net requirements.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance) to gather forecasts and align them with business objectives.
Set the agenda for monthly collaboration meetings with the commercial team and attend these meetings.
Monitor forecast performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize forecast variances.
Regularly review, update, and maintain procedures and processes.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in the field.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
Advanced Excel skills are required; experience with Power BI dashboards is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills with the ability to convert analysis into actionable forecasts.
Ability to build strong, productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
ASCM and/or IBF certification is an asset.
Experience with Microsoft D365 is a plus.
Proven ability to build strong, productive relationships with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with forecasting tools and software.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable forecasts.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
Skilled in presenting data clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
ASCM and/or IBF certification is considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft D365 is an asset.
