In this role, you will be responsible for moving palletized inventory, loading and unloading shipping containers, staging orders, and maintaining strict warehouse safety standards. Depending on your certifications, equipment assigned may include Counterbalance (Propane/Electric), Raymond Reach truck, or High-Reach Order Pickers.

Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Dockstocker, or Walkie) to move inventory across dock and warehouse areas.
Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload trailers at truck-level doors, verify packing slips against physical shipments, and stage outgoing freight.
Racking & Put-Away: Elevate, stack, and retrieve palletized product in narrow aisles or high-bay racking systems.
Order Fulfillment: Utilize handheld RF scanners to locate SKUs, pick cases/skids, wrap pallets securely, and label outgoing orders.
Safety Inspections: Complete pre-shift machinery safety checklists, report maintenance needs immediately, and keep operating aisles clean and hazard-free.
Qualifications
Licensing: Valid, externally issued Forklift Operator Certification (Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, or Order Picker).
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing setting.
Technical Ability: Comfort using handheld RF scanners and navigating warehouse management system (WMS) screens.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform light-to-moderate manual lifting (up to 40–50 lbs as needed) and stand/sit for extended shift periods.
Safety & Reliability: Strong commitment to Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) protocols; CSA-approved steel-toe boots mandatory.
