Responsibilities
- Operate various models of forklifts (sit-down propane, electric, stand-up, reach, and double reach) with expertise and in complete safety.
- Perform the handling, movement, and safe storage of materials and products in the warehouse.
- Actively participate in order preparation (picking) with accuracy according to work orders.
- Ensure the packaging (packing) of products is adequate and secure for shipping.
- Load and unload delivery trucks using the appropriate forklift.
- Verify the conformity of goods received and shipped and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain the order and cleanliness of work areas, the warehouse, and loading docks.
- Collaborate with the shipping team to optimize workflow in Manufacturing and Logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and product movements.
Qualifications
- Complete mastery and certification of the different types of forklifts required.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse and material handling safety practices.
- Demonstrated ability in order preparation (picking) and reading work orders.
- Rigor and attention to detail for packaging and shipment verification.
- Ability to work autonomously and integrate effectively into a logistics team.
- Organization and priority management in a dynamic warehouse environment.
