We are currently looking for a highly experienced and professional forklift operator to join our team located in Vaudreuil-Dorion. This is a contract position with possibility of hire after the probationary period. Responsibilities
- Operate electric forklifts (mostly sit-down) in compliance with manufacturing & logistics standards
- Load and unload trucks with precision and speed
- Place pallets of goods onto high-level racking systems
- Work daily in cold storage zones (between 2 and 15 degrees Celsius)
- Collaborate with colleagues in the manufacturing & logistics division to ensure operational fluidity
- Perform daily safety checks on all electric lifting equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of mandatory experience as a forklift operator
- Valid and up-to-date forklift operator certification
- Physical ability to work in a cold warehouse environment
- Functional mastery of the French language
- Unimpeachable reliability and punctuality
- Ability to travel daily to Vaudreuil-Dorion
