Responsibilities
As an FP&A Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Building budgets, financial forecasts, and financial performance analyses.
- Providing sales support on pricing, including developing financial models to assist with proposals and validating contract profitability.
- Monitoring costs closely.
- Tracking and explaining forecast variances, then presenting these insights to management.
- Developing and adjusting financial projections.
- Preparing investment business cases.
- Supporting the accounting team during month-end and year-end close.
- Handling ad-hoc mandates as required.
Qualifications
For this Financial Analyst - Budgeting & Financial Analysis (FP&A) role, we're seeking a candidate with:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance; a CPA designation is a strong asset.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an audit firm or in an FP&A role within a company.
- Bilingualism is essential (the environment is French-speaking, but clients and suppliers are located across Canada and the US).
- Rigor, great communication skills, curiosity, and initiative are key qualities for this position.
