Target Start Date: Feb 2nd, 2026
Contract Duration: 6 months
Extension/FTE: possible for extension and conversion
Remote - can be anywhere in Canada as long as the candidate can work 9-5 EST.

Responsibilities
The main function of the Translator is to translate written or spoken materials from one language to another.
Listen to, understand, and translate spoken or written statements from one language to another
Facilitate effective communication by converting one spoken/written language to another
Relay concepts and ideas between languages
Edit and proofread text to accurately reflect language
Adapt a product or service for use in a different language and culture
Qualifications
Must Have Requirement:
3+ years Translation experience
Experience with translation memory software
French/English bilingual *Expert level French skills
GED / Highschool Diploma required
BA in translation required
Working in HTML
Nice to Have:
Technical writing certificate
Knowledge to JIRA
Flow Fit knowledge / MemoQ Software knowledge
Soft Skills:
Strong affinity to technology
Team player
Organized
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Respectful
Prioritizing their work/work load management
