The Details: What You Need to Know:
- Premium Compensation: A powerhouse rate of $56.70/hour, immediately recognizing your expertise, plus lucrative field premiums and allowances.
- Ultimate Schedule: Enjoy a phenomenal 14 days on, 14 days off continuous rotation. Work hard for two weeks, bank significant overtime, and then enjoy two full weeks of uninterrupted freedom!
- Location: Primarily field work at customer sites. Escape the city grind—travel and customer camp accommodations are provided, along with a travel allowance.

Responsibilities
The Challenge (Your Responsibilities):
- You will serve as the on-site expert, taking full ownership of the repair, preventative maintenance, complex overhaul, and troubleshooting for mission-critical equipment. If it's related to Natural Gas Compression or Energy Power Generation, it falls under your expertise.
- Expect to work directly, hands-on, with a broad and diverse range of specialized equipment, including:
- All varieties of natural gas and diesel engines.
- Industrial compressors and power generators.
- Equipment spanning all major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins, and many other non-Caterpillar brands.
Qualifications
Mandatory Field Requirements: Let's Talk If You Meet These
- This is an expert-level role that demands an established skill set; it is not suited for on-the-job training in fundamentals. If you do not confidently meet every bullet point below, we ask that you respect your time and ours by not applying:
- Essential Certification: A Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification is mandatory. (We will also consider other relevant Red Seal trades—such as Millwright, Mechanic, or Electrician—if the candidate possesses verifiable, direct compression experience.)
- Compression Expertise: You must demonstrate proven, hands-on experience working with ALL MAKES of industrial Gas Compression equipment. This skill is non-negotiable.
- Field Assembly Mastery: We require absolute confidence in high-stakes assembly. If you cannot guarantee a first-time, leak-free seal on complex connections, this is not the right fit.
- Torque Discipline: Proven ability to accurately torque connections to exact specifications on critical systems.
Major Assets (Bonus Points):
- Industry Focus: Direct experience within Gas Compression and Well Servicing environments.
- System Start-Up: Experience with equipment commissioning procedures.
- Specific Engine Platform: Prior hands-on experience with the Caterpillar G3600 A4 engine platform.
