Responsibilities
-Perform the manual assembly of various paper components such as brochures, pamphlets, and advertising inserts.
-Conduct rigorous quality control checks to identify any errors or anomalies, including defects, color differences, or printing issues.
-Ensure that the print format and the location of perforations (punch holes) comply with specifications.
-Utilize computer literacy to create and print shipping and product labels for packaging and labeling.
-Carefully and accurately package and label final orders for shipping.
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the Manufacturing and Logistics sector.
-Follow current work instructions and safety standards for the Material Handler role.
Qualifications
-Work experience in assembly, quality control, or Manufacturing and Logistics (an asset).
-Basic computer skills and the ability to manage labeling software.
-Ability to commute to the workplace for the 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. schedule.
-Must demonstrate autonomy and rigor/attention to detail for quality control tasks.
-Be comfortable with a physical role including Material Handling and packaging.
-Commitment to safety and work procedures.
