Responsibilities
Handling and moving materials safely throughout the manufacturing & logistics facility.
• Loading and unloading inventory from shipping areas and production lines.
• Operating basic material handling tools, such as manual pallet jacks and dollies.
• Assisting assembly line teams and machine operators with raw material feed.
• Packing, labeling, and sorting finished goods to prepare them for distribution.
• Conducting basic quality checks on products to identify defects or errors.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation.
• Following all health and safety guidelines outlined by the facility supervisors.
Skills
Proven physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for repetitive assembly tasks.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail during quality control and packaging processes.
• Ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team.
• Solid understanding of basic workplace safety protocols and protective gear.
Qualifications
Prior hands-on experience as a General Labourer, warehouse worker, or production associate.
• Possession of safety equipment, including CSA-approved steel-toed boots.
• Reliable transportation to the job site in Brantford for punctual shift arrivals.
• A strong track record of reliability, dependability, and strong work ethic.
