We are hiring General Labourers in Scarborough to support the launch of a new 24/7 operation. To accelerate the hiring process, the interview day will be held on July 14, allowing selected candidates to complete interviews and pre-employment steps all in one day.

What you’ll do
As a General Labourer, you’ll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape.
Your day-to-day:
- Supports machine operators with setup, adjustments, and clearing jams.
- Performs material handling and keeps machines continuously stocked.
- Coordinates order sequence, prints load tags, and prepares or closes orders.
- Conducts quality checks and identifies defects or inconsistencies.
- Reports equipment, production, or quality issues to operators or supervisors.
- Follows safety procedures (including lockout/tagout) and maintains a clean work area.
- Assists with general duties and stays attentive to customer needs.
Your strengths as a General Labourer
You are a natural fit for this role if you have:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic English communication skills for safety and team collaboration
- Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions and basic measurements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and computer skills; manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with quality assurance and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; people-oriented
- Ability to manage time, stay organized, work under pressure, and show initiative
