Responsibilities
-Perform all duties efficiently and safely while following company safety policies and procedures
-Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
-Cut and handle pipe materials
-Tally and rack pipes accurately
-Use hand tools and equipment to unload and collar pipe
-Use crowbars and other tools to push and pull pipes to tighten racks
-Assist with load securement according to company policies
-Inspect pipe yard conditions and equipment and report maintenance or repair needs
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pipe yard
-Verify incoming and outgoing shipments and assist with inventory management and cycle counts
-Assist in ensuring efficient and timely deliveries
-Safely operate equipment and perform minor maintenance as required
-Participate in company training programs
-Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, reaching, and bending
-Work safely in year-round outdoor conditions
-Perform all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Previous experience in a labour, pipe yard, or industrial environment preferred
-Minimum 2 years of machine operator experience required
-Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving abilities
-Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
-Strong work ethic and reliability
-Ability to work independently and within a team environment
-Physically capable of heavy lifting and repetitive labour tasks
-Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
-Steel-toed safety boots required
