General labour/Truck helper - Dartmouth

Salary: $16.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm (45 hours/week)
Assignment Duration: 6-Month Contract (Opportunity for Extension)

Responsibilities
Assist delivery drivers with daily truck loading, cargo securing, and route preparation
Load and unload shipments safely at various job sites and distribution points
Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and sorting materials up to 50 lbs
Interact professionally with site managers while adhering strictly to safety protocols

Qualifications
Ability to perform physical labour and regularly lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Excellent attendance record and strong work ethic for morning dispatch times
Strong communication skills and a cooperative team attitude
Required: Steel-toed safety boots (CSA-approved)
Asset: Prior experience in general labour, warehouse loading, or delivery assistance
