Responsibilities
đź”§ Key Responsibilities:
Production & Operations:
-Coordinate weekly production with foremen and supervisors.
-Ensure all materials and components are ready for scheduled jobs.
-Monitor raw material levels and workflow to ensure on-time delivery.
Team Leadership & HR:
-Lead hiring for both plant and office roles.
-Manage performance reviews, promotions, and team development.
-Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and productivity.
Purchasing & Inventory:
-Oversee procurement of raw materials and supplies.
-Maintain balanced inventory to support continuous production.
-Manage crating and shipping logistics.
-Sales & Customer Success
-Supervise inside sales and quoting activities.
-Support customer service, addressing issues with professionalism.
-Oversee sales commission structures and team targets.
Engineering & Maintenance:
-Liaise with engineering team on custom orders.
-Source and maintain equipment to meet production needs.
-Ensure upkeep of the facility and compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
đź§© What You Bring:
-5 to 7 years of management experience in a manufacturing plant
-Proven leadership in a manufacturing environment, ideally in steel wire or related industries.
-Strong operational and organizational skills with a hands-on management approach.
-Expertise in purchasing, production scheduling, and team management.
-A customer-first mindset with strong communication abilities.
-Experience working across departments to meet demanding deadlines.
