Location: Alberta-based (Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer, Grande Prairie preferred)
Travel: Extensive travel across Alberta and the Northwest Territories
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off – continuous shift
Compensation: $53.42/hour
Overtime: Paid OT and double time based on customer/site requirements

Responsibilities
What you’ll be doing:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment in the field
- Use Caterpillar’s SIS and ET systems daily
- Complete accurate service documentation (work orders, warranty reports, crossover notes)
- Collaborate with Service Supervisors, Lead Hands, and the larger technical team
- Maintain strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders
- Follow all safety protocols while working independently in remote environments
Qualifications
What you'll bring:
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal)
- Dual ticket (HET/Truck & Transport or Millwright) considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Experience with Caterpillar equipment and SIS/ET systems is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-first mindset
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in remote and changing environments
