Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the heavy-duty mechanic position in Gatineau
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy vehicles and machinery.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Execute oil changes and routine maintenance to ensure equipment performance.
Carry out major repairs, including welding and painting on trucks.

Participate in the winter "shut down" period for major repairs and in-depth maintenance.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications for the heavy-duty mechanic position in Gatineau
Education: Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in heavy road vehicle mechanics, construction equipment mechanics, or equivalent training.
Relevant Experience: Possess 2 to 10 years of experience in heavy vehicle or equipment mechanics.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Additional Abilities: Welding is a valuable asset that will make a difference.
Autonomy and Resourcefulness: Ability to work independently and without constant supervision, with rigor and ingenuity.
