Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the Heavy Duty Mechanic position:
Adjust, repair, and/or replace defective parts and components.
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on mobile equipment.
Diagnose faults and failures to accurately determine the scope of required repairs.
Complete detailed repair reports, identifying the root causes of the breakdowns or problems encountered.
Test repaired equipment to ensure it functions properly and that all repairs meet performance and safety standards.
Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to plan and execute the correct repair procedures.The responsibilities for the Heavy Duty Mechanic position:

DEP in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of mobile equipment and its operational functions.
Solid foundation in general mechanics, electricity, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
Ability to utilize diagnostic and scanning tools.
Ability to crimp hydraulic hoses according to manufacturer specifications.
Proficiency with welding equipment and torches.
Basic computer literacy.
