Responsibilities
Precision Diagnostics: Execute deep root-cause troubleshooting on complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems using OEM software and diagnostic schematics.
Shop Maintenance & Overhauls: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical overhauls on heavy lifting machinery and commercial fleets.
Field Service Operations: Drive and operate a modern service truck to deliver rapid, high-quality on-site diagnostics and field repairs.
Safety Culture: Champion a zero-incident work culture through daily toolbox talks, hazard assessments, and safe rigging practice using overhead shop cranes and forklifts.
Qualifications
Red Seal / Journeyman Ticket in Heavy Duty Equipment or Commercial Transport (Motivated 3rd and 4th-Year Apprentices are strongly encouraged to apply!).
Diagnostic Aptitude: 3+ years of experience with strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in hydraulic circuits and electrical systems.
Valid Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 License (Class 1 or Class 3 with a clean abstract required for field service roles).
Key Assets: CVIP inspection authorization and overhead crane experience are strong bonuses (crane specialization is NOT required—we will train!).
Tools of the Trade: Personal set of standard hand tools required (a detailed tool guidance list will be provided).
