Responsibilities
Precision Diagnostics: Conduct root-cause troubleshooting on complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical setups using OEM software and schematics.
Shop Maintenance & Overhauls: Carry out routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and mechanical overhauls on heavy cranes and fleet vehicles.
Field Service Operations: Drive and operate a fully equipped service vehicle to deliver fast, reliable on-site diagnostics and field repairs.
Safety Culture: Promote a zero-incident work environment through daily safety meetings, hazard checks, and safe rigging with overhead cranes and forklifts.
Qualifications
Red Seal / Journeyman Ticket in Heavy Duty Equipment or Commercial Transport (Motivated 3rd and 4th-Year Apprentices are welcome to apply!).
Diagnostic Aptitude: 3+ years of experience with practical troubleshooting skills in hydraulic circuits and electrical systems.
Valid Driver’s License: Valid Class 5 License (Class 1 or Class 3 with a clean abstract needed for field service roles).
Key Assets: CVIP inspection ticket and overhead crane experience are strong pluses (crane expertise is NOT required—we will train!).
Tools of the Trade: Personal set of standard hand tools required (a complete tool guide will be provided).
