Responsibilities
Advanced Diagnostics: Execute expert troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical setups using OEM software and schematics.
Heavy Maintenance: Perform scheduled checks, major component rebuilds, and routine service on 14-to-55-ton mobile cranes and heavy transport fleets.
Field Operations: Operate a fully outfitted service truck to deliver fast, expert repair solutions at nearby client job sites.
Safety First: Champion safety by actively leading daily toolbox talks, hazard evaluations, and strict site compliance.
Qualifications
Certifications: Red Seal / Journeyman Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport Mechanic (Motivated 3rd and 4th-year apprentices welcome).
Proven Technical Mastery: Strong diagnostic abilities with deep expertise in hydraulics, electrical circuits, and modern diesel engines.
Clean Driving Record: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract (Class 1, Class 3, or MVI ticket preferred).
Experience: CVIP background preferred; mobile crane experience is an asset, but sharp diagnostic skills are paramount.
Tools of the Trade: Must possess a complete set of personal hand tools (guidance checklist available upon request).
