Responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Technician, you will be called upon to:
Actively participate in the validation of ongoing work on the construction site (mechanical sectors and industrial piping).
Ensure compliance with plans, technical specifications, standards, and best practices in industrial construction.
Collaborate with site teams, engineers, subcontractors, and the client to ensure smooth and compliant execution.
Perform technical surveys, assess on-site needs, and propose technical solutions as required.
Produce or revise sketches, technical sheets, site follow-ups, and progress reports.
Participate in the planning and continuous improvement of on-site work methods.
Qualifications
This role is for you if you possess:
Collegial Studies Diploma (DEC) in mechanical engineering, building engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial environment, ideally on a construction site.
Recognized expertise in process mechanics, industrial piping, and complex mechanical systems.
Demonstrated ability to work with great autonomy and exercise sound technical judgment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting plans, technical specifications, and P&IDs.
Mastery of common computer tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Office Suite, and MS Projects).
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team spirit.
Valid driver's license and mobility to work in Sainte-Sophie.
