Responsibilities
The main tasks of the heavy vehicle electromechanic specialized in preventive and corrective maintenance include:
-Ensuring the proper functioning, preventive maintenance, and major repairs of the fleet of de-icing and service trucks in Ville Saint-Laurent.
-Performing precise diagnostics and troubleshooting on highly specialized vehicles equipped with aerial work platforms, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, and onboard computer systems.
-Meticulously inspecting mechanical and electrical components to ensure that all vehicles are clean, safe, and in perfect working order.
-Collaborating actively with the lead mechanic by promptly reporting any mechanical or operational anomaly detected on the fleet.
-Filling out maintenance reports and completing the required documentation to ensure rigorous technical follow-up in compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this heavy vehicle electromechanic position in Ville Saint-Laurent must possess the following profile:
-Diploma or successfully completed course in general mechanics, heavy road vehicle mechanics, or construction equipment mechanics.
-Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the heavy mechanics field or equivalent experience.
