Our team is seeking a YubiKey & Security Deployment Specialist to join a prominent central federal department in downtown Ottawa. In this specialized role, you will oversee the distribution, orchestration, and user onboarding of hardware security keys (YubiKeys) for over 2,000 employees as the organization transitions away from standard mobile-based Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end hardware distribution, tracking, and activation of YubiKey hardware security tokens across enterprise users.
- Guide employees through the transition from mobile authenticator applications to physical hardware security keys.
- Log, track, and resolve deployment-related technical inquiries and access issues using ITSM ticketing tools.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for smart cards, security tokens, and user authentication software.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and credential distribution records.
Qualifications
- Security Clearance: Must hold an active Government of Canada Secret Clearance.
- Language Skills: Fluent bilingualism in both English and French (oral and written).
- Technical Support Experience: Experience in an IT helpdesk, desktop support, or technology deployment role.
- Core Tech Skills: Practical experience supporting Windows 10+, Microsoft O365, and user access management.
- Hardware/Security Experience: Familiarity with MFA, hardware security keys (YubiKey), or smart card administration is a strong asset.
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week in Downtown Ottawa.
