This position is primarily remote, but candidates must be located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or close proximity and have the flexibility to go to the office in Toronto a few times a year if needed. The role offers excellent exposure to various levels of the organization and a chance to drive process innovation.
You will act as an expert in data analysis, regularly monitoring employee completion rates for mandatory compliance training, pulling detailed reports on both completes and overdues, and distributing daily status reports to stakeholders at all levels. Furthermore, you will be key in managing and resolving escalated learner inquiries and issues related to online training and the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a positive learner experience while balancing critical regulatory and business needs.

Reporting & Data Analysis (Key Focus):
Execute the daily Mandatory training reporting and escalation process.
Monitor employee completion of Mandatory compliance training.
Pull detailed completion and overdue reports for all organizational levels.
Distribute daily status reports and completion metrics reports to stakeholders.
Assist in the analysis of trends that emerge from reporting and participate in developing recommendations for enhancement or remediation.
Ensure training records are archived in compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Issue Resolution & Process Management:
Respond to and resolve escalated learner inquiries or issues via the HR Help Desk tool, meeting prescribed service level agreements.
Collaborate with peers to investigate, recommend, and implement changes to monitoring, follow-up, and escalation processes.
Act as a subject matter expert on the Learning Management System (LMS) and online learning to support partners and resolve course-related problems.
Manage and deliver on all removal and exception requests in strict adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Must-Have Technical & Experience:
Reporting Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a reporting function, including exporting data from reporting systems and manipulating it in Excel.
Advanced Excel: Strong skills in MS Excel, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and mail merges.
Training/LMS Knowledge: 1–2+ years of experience in a training environment with a strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training.
Risk & Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of risk management environment, standards, and regulations, with an understanding of the impacts of regulation on training.
Computer Application Skills: Exposure to an automation platform (e.g., Power Automate) and proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint).
Must-Have Core Skills:
Analytical Skills: Very strong analytical skills with the ability to look at data and identify big-picture trends and issues.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills focused on improving the learner experience while balancing regulatory and business needs.
Communication: Excellent business writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills with an ability to engage and influence collaborative decisions.
Nice-to-Have:
Basic knowledge of the compliance, legal, and regulatory environment, enterprise governance framework, and organizational policies.
