The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $31.03 and is primarily remote. However, candidates must be located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) or close by and have the flexibility to travel to the downtown Toronto office a few times a year as needed.
Your daily work will involve managing a high volume of cases (targeting around 20 per day) within a ticketing system, troubleshooting technical issues related to online training and the LMS, and collaborating with various HR and business partners to implement solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of online learning processes, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
L&D Issue Management:
Resolve Escalations: Respond to and resolve escalated learner inquiries or issues using the ServiceNow (or similar) ticketing tool, ensuring adherence to prescribed service level agreements (SLAs) with a goal of around 20 cases per day.
Troubleshooting: Support individual learners by troubleshooting issues, providing clear options, and finding appropriate resolutions for online training and LMS technology problems.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and assist in the reporting of trends in training escalations, and analyze data to develop recommendations for course/process enhancement and remediation.
Process & Compliance:
SME Support: Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in the LMS and online learning, supporting learners and L&D partners with recommendations and problem resolution.
Documentation: Collaborate with peers to implement updates to troubleshooting knowledge base articles.
Regulatory Adherence: Manage and process all removal and exception requests, strictly adhering to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a training environment with a strong understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online training.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on balancing learner experience with regulatory and business needs.
Attention to Detail: Excellent research investigative skills and attention to detail for case management and data accuracy.
Communication: Excellent business writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively collaborate and influence decisions.
Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Environment: Experience working in a regulatory environment.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of an LMS and basic SharePoint functionality.
Previous experience using a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).
