Partner with managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and provide practical HR support and recommendations.
Support talent acquisition activities, including developing job profiles, posting positions, sourcing and screening candidates, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
Support the final selection process, including assessments, background checks, and offer preparation.
Support new hire onboarding and employee orientation to help ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
Support talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and development initiatives for high-potential employees.
Assist with performance management programs and annual review processes.
Identify employee development and training needs and support the implementation and communication of relevant programs.
Prepare, review, and interpret HR data and analytics to provide meaningful insights that support people and business decisions.
Maintain strong relationships with HR teams, business leaders, and key stakeholders to support the adoption of talent programs and initiatives.
Qualifications

3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably within manufacturing, construction, building services, or a related industry.
Previous experience working in a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
Experience working in an HR Business Partner or consultative HR role supporting operational or business leaders.
Strong experience in recruitment and talent acquisition across various roles and levels.
Experience with SAP SAC, particularly for reporting and analytics.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with HR data and translate information into meaningful insights.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience with HRIS, recruitment, and learning management systems is an asset.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, relationship-building, and client-service skills
