Responsibilities
Craft clear, executive-ready presentation decks, briefing documents, leadership communications, and strategic narratives for Board meetings, senior executive updates, and cross-functional leadership.
Translate complex HR initiatives, workforce strategies, and business challenges into clear, concise, and audience-tailored messaging.
Establish consistent internal communication practices by creating reusable templates, messaging toolkits, guidance documents, and standardized frameworks.
Enhance the flow, visual impact, and narrative structure of HR materials through advanced storytelling, editing, and content design.
Advise and support HR management in planning, message alignment, and effective delivery strategies for major department initiatives.
Collaborate closely with internal corporate communications teams to ensure alignment with overall brand guidelines and enterprise messaging standards.
Continually identify opportunities to refine communication workflows, content governance, and resource management across the department.
Qualifications
Extensive professional experience leading executive communications, messaging governance, strategic writing, or HR communications enablement within a large, complex organizational environment.
Post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and direct practical experience.
Proven track record of developing high-stakes executive deliverables, including C-suite decks, Board materials, strategic briefing notes, and leadership talking points.
Superior business writing, structural editing, and visual storytelling skills, with a proven ability to distill complex data into intuitive, executive-level summaries.
Strong consulting and relationship-management skills, with a demonstrated history of building trust and driving consensus across senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Hands-on experience creating communication toolkits, manager enablement resources, and repeatable governance frameworks.
Solid business acumen, with the capacity to balance overarching strategic goals with daily content execution.
Prior experience operating within regulated industries (e.g., energy, utilities, infrastructure, or industrial sectors) is considered a strong asset.
