Primary Duties include: • Understanding business goals and objectives in a complex technical and functional environment.• Elicitation of business requirements and support of the development of effective technical and operational (procedural) solutions to improve service delivery to clients and citizens. This means working closely with Engineering, IT, and Operational teams to ensure requirements and solutions are well analyzed and mapped out to optimize the needs of the business. • Mapping of business processes and completion of business process reviews. • Collaboration with Project Manager and other project teams to the sequencing of project activities to manage conflicting activities and reduce risk.• Facilitation and delivery of workshops and presentations.• Analyze and improve business and technical processes, develop and document technical support models and metrics.• Coordinate system testing, develop test cases with system and client acceptance, provide briefings and recommendations.• Work closely with the project team and operational teams to enable successful implementation to operational teams, including related requirements and sustainment planning.• Provide subject matter expertise and support to more junior staff in process improvement, business process mapping, business analysis, and the project lifecycle. Five (5) years' experience including but not limited to the following: a. Experience with technical project delivery to operational (front line) stakeholders; b. Experience in business impact and risk value analysis 3. Five (5) years’ experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information. 4. Five (5) years’ experience analyzing business requirements to produce detailed specifications for technical and operations teams.Desired1. Demonstrated aptitude to work autonomously, make decisions daily with little supervision, and assume ownership over work assigned; 2. The ability to mentor technical and functional resources; 3. Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels; 4. Previous experience with telecom/telephony and/or Emergency Services; 5. Demonstrated business knowledge in a wide range of business functions related to municipal government or other large organizations. 6. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines; 7. Telecommunication and/or network experience considered an asset 8. Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience considered an asset 9.
