Responsibilities
Hiring Manager Partnership & Advisory
Strategic Partner: Serve as the primary talent acquisition point of contact for hiring managers, providing market intelligence, candidate pool availability, and advice on headcount planning.
Role Calibration: Lead thorough intake sessions to define role requirements, craft target candidate profiles, and establish objective, competency-based evaluation rubrics.
Interview Coaching: Empower and coach hiring teams on structured interviewing techniques, effective candidate assessment, and best practices to mitigate unconscious bias.
Recruitment Lifecycle & Candidate Experience
Lifecycle Ownership: Own the end-to-end talent acquisition process from job posting and active sourcing through pre-screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless, high-touch candidate journey by maintaining prompt, transparent communication and delivering constructive feedback at every touchpoint.
ATS & Tech Operations: Maintain high data integrity within internal Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and talent platforms to streamline workflows and maintain clear pipeline visibility.
Sourcing Strategy, Analytics & Employer Brand
Proactive Sourcing: Identify and engage passive talent through multi-channel sourcing strategies, professional networks, and direct outreach to build robust pipelines for critical roles.
Data-Driven Recruitment: Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, candidate pass-through rates, source quality) to optimize strategies and provide actionable updates to leadership.
Employer Branding & Compliance: Promote company culture across talent channels while ensuring all recruitment practices align with applicable employment standards, human rights legislation, and labor laws.
Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of progressive HR Talent Acquisition, ideally within a corporate or fast-paced environment.
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Core Competencies: High emotional intelligence, exceptional conflict resolution skills, and the ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders at all levels.
