This position will report to the HRMS Manager and as part of the HR group, this role will work closely with our implementation team, various business stakeholders, and members of our HR and technology team to architect and successfully execute the HRMS implementation and rollout in a multi-phase, multi-site project spanning Canada and the US with a primary focus on the United States. They will spend time gathering, organizing and preparing data and processes while supporting the configuration of the new system. Will participate in testing the processes during User Acceptance Testing. Once they are satisfied with the processes they will sign off for implementation and for the production of training materials. Once the training materials are finalized they will provide training and support to their colleagues prior to, during and after the Go Live. Their goal is to ensure that local branch end users are well prepared for Go Live as well as to assist with any challenges encountered during the transition. This role could continue to develop into process reviews that will continue during the optimization phase over the next several years.

Responsibilities
• Support the implementation and HR Team to review and understand the existing
business model and processes to translate requirements into the future state of the
application.
• Supplement all functional teams of the project execution (Compensation, Benefits,
Payroll, HR, Workforce Management) to ensure clarity and visibility throughout the
project team.
• Assist in the collection and consolidation of required information and data, ensuring
accuracy, quality control, version control, issue management.
• Interpret government legislation and collective agreements.
• Accurately and efficiently execute test plans.
• May assist in education and construction of training materials.
• Understands project plans and is able to clearly articulate roles, project goals, and
timelines.
• Adheres to project standards defined by project management.
• Accurately employs our methodology and documentation tools.
• Proactively carries out project support/administrative functions.
Qualifications
• Proposes solutions to problems and considers timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality
in addressing end user needs.
• Generates innovative solutions by approaching problems with curiosity and open
mindedness, using existing information to its fullest potential.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French would be
an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective interpersonal skills and a strong customer service focus including
demonstrated flexibility and end user advocacy.
• Highly self-motivated and proactive.
• Well organised with excellent analytical, interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Excellent computer skills, specifically Excel and experience with HRMS.
• 3-5 years’ experience implementing UKG PRO, Kronos or Ultipro is a must.
• Some travel to locations in the US and Canada may be (10-20%) required.
• Must be local to Toronto and prepared to attend meetings in Mississauga throughout
the project and work in a hybrid arrangement; the position is not full remote.
