At our facilities in North Carolina you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Occupational Safety team as the H&S Specialist:
***The position will be covering our facility in Moulded Pulp plant
- Conduct regular inspections and compliance audits to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Organize and deliver health and safety training, informing employees about risks and preventive measures.
- Supervise incident management and coordinate corrective actions at the plant level.
- Coordinate the implementation of health and safety standards, audit the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Develop and maintain emergency plans, organize simulation exercises, and monitor H&S indicators.
- Support the plant with diverse day‑to‑day needs and additional tasks.

- 1 to 2 years of experience in Health & Safety or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of local and national health and safety regulations.
- Strong skills in risk identification, assessment, and incident analysis.
- Ability to organize and deliver H&S training and manage the use of PPE.
- Expertise in teaching proactive H&S risk management strategies at all levels of the organization.
- Skills in developing, maintaining emergency plans, and organizing simulation exercises.
- Able to deliver basic safety training and coaching and speak confidently in front of groups.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Spanish language is a strong asset due to plant workforce.
