With its management philosophy, half a century of experience in recycling, and continuous efforts in research and development as driving forces, Cascades continues to deliver the innovative products that customers have come to rely on.Your Challenge!As a Millwright/Mechanic, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor your duties may include the following: Inspecting, repairing, cleaning and maintaining industrial machinery and equipment.Job Responsibilities •    Accurately complete daily work order/production reports.•    Must maintain clean work area and be able to perform other assigned duties in a timely manner.•    Successfully maintain and repair various Converting/ Paper Mill and Industrial Equipment.•    Maintaining Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Machinery systems and other Preventative Maintenance Systems.•    Ability to do Welding, Machining, Lift Truck Repairs.•    Pipefitting and general Millwrighting throughout the facility. •    Comply with other requests from department manager or department supervisor.QualificationsMust have strong mechanical and technical aptitude with an ability to understand converting equipment design concepts.•    Forklift License Certification or ability to obtain with training•    Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; Able to read and write legibly•    Able to work at a fast pace, stable under pressure and organized, while staying within safety rules and regulations•    Work well with others as part of the team and independently without supervision.•    Must be willing and able to be cross-trained in other positions and operate various machinery and equipment•    Must be willing and flexible with overtime for coverage even on short notice•    Must be safety, quality, productivity and team-work oriented•    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs in a stretching manner.       Your Challenge!The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervision of plant maintenance personnel for their assigned shift. Responsibility includes supervision of assigned employees, assignment of work to plant maintenance personnel, coordinating proper maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of plant equipment.
