Responsibilities
Direct the full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and off-boarding processes to ensure hiring practices are equitable and compliant.
Guide employee relations by overseeing performance management, conflict resolution, disability management, and sensitive workplace investigations.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, support job evaluation processes, and coordinate payroll initiatives in partnership with the finance team.
Develop, update, and enforce HR policies while maintaining data integrity within the HRIS.
Champion occupational health and safety programs, acting as the co-chair and secretary for the workplace health and safety committee.
Qualifications
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
In-depth understanding of Canadian employment legislation, labour relations, human rights, and privacy laws.
Proven proficiency with HRIS platforms (such as ADP WorkForce Now), reporting tools, and payroll coordination.
