👷 About the Role
This is NOT an IT role. We’re looking for a licensed Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic who’s spent years on the tools and is now ready to transition into a support-based office role — one where you use your knowledge to help other techs succeed.
You’ll provide real-world troubleshooting help, walk contractors through installs, commission systems, and deliver support over phone, email, Teams, and (when needed) in person. You’ll still roll up your sleeves now and then — just not every day.
This role is based in Edmonton, with travel across Alberta as needed (fully reimbursed). You may occasionally support the Calgary office.

Responsibilities
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Be the go-to expert for field techs and contractors needing support
- Help troubleshoot issues with VRF/VRV systems, installations, controls, and electronics
- Guide commissioning and service work remotely or on-site
- Host and support technical training sessions via Teams or in-person
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to resolve product-related issues
- Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other tools for documentation
Qualifications
✅ What You Bring
- Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic ticket (MUST HAVE)
- 5+ years of HVAC field experience
- Strong understanding of wiring, controls, and electronics
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience mentoring apprentices or providing training is a major plus*
- Comfortable with computers, Microsoft Office, and video call platforms
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
- Bonus if you have: VRF/VRV experience, AutoCAD familiarity, First Aid/Fall Protection/Forklift tickets
