What You’ll Do:
- Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to technicians via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, and on-site visits.
- Assist contractors with complex installations and system commissioning.
- Offer practical, real-world solutions to keep projects moving smoothly and customers fully satisfied.
- Occasionally step into the field—without the physical strain of full-time fieldwork.
- Work primarily out of Edmonton, with reimbursed travel across Alberta and occasional support for our Calgary office.
📍 Location: Edmonton, AB (travel across Alberta required)
💵 Compensation: $75,000–$95,000/year + Bonus
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time Monday–Friday
📅 Position Type: Permanent Office-Based with Field Travel

Responsibilities
🔧 Your Core Responsibilities:
- Act as a go-to resource for technicians and contractors in need of technical support
- Diagnose and resolve issues with VRF/VRV systems, controls, electronics, and complex installations
- Assist with commissioning and service work both remotely and during occasional site visits
- Lead and support technical training sessions via Microsoft Teams or in person
- Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to identify and resolve product-related challenges
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other tools
Qualifications
✅ What You’ll Bring
- A Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic certification (required)
- 5+ years of practical HVAC field experience
- Strong understanding of wiring, controls, and electronic systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience mentoring apprentices or coaching colleagues is a valuable asset
- Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (all travel expenses reimbursed)
- Bonus qualifications: VRF/VRV system experience, AutoCAD knowledge, First Aid, Fall Protection, or Forklift certification
