Responsibilities
As a Specialist, your daily operations will fall into one of three core corporate pillars: the Frontline Customer Service Centre (CSC)
- Omnichannel Client Support: Manage a steady, fast-paced stream of inbound English and French inquiries via phone and email from corporate plan administrators, advisors, and individual plan members.
- Expert Policy Navigation: Break down intricate group insurance contracts, dental/medical benefits, and pension allocations to deliver accurate, empathetic explanations to clients.
- Complex Financial & Plan Administration: Safely process, verify, and log technical backend transactions (such as RRSP contributions, mutual fund allocations, benefit updates, and member profile adjustments) across multiple corporate databases.
- Data Integrity & Security: Operate within highly regulated tracking frameworks to document caller notes flawlessly, maintain a high quality-assurance score, and adhere strictly to file compliance laws.
Qualifications
Strict Schedule, Training & Hybrid Logistics
- The Shift Schedule: Must have open availability Monday to Friday between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. You will be assigned a steady 5-day, 8-hour schedule (40 hours/week) within this window. This availability is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Intense Training Blackout: The first 3 months feature comprehensive, structured training. To ensure success, no vacation or time-off requests can be accommodated during this initial 90-day phase.
- Training Schedule: 3 days in-office (Downtown Montreal) / 2 days remote.
- Post-Training Schedule: 2 days in-office / 3 days remote. (Note: Occasional added days in-office may be required based on business needs or corporate team events).
- Remote Workspace Setup: While the company provides your computer hardware, you are strictly required to supply a private, quiet workspace, a proper desk with room for 1–2 monitors, and a high-speed, physically wired internet connection (Ethernet cord connection directly to the router is required for security).
Candidate Qualifications
- Hiring managers are seeking a specific profile of proven stability and technical strength. To be considered, your resume must reflect:
- Proven Career Stability: A minimum of 2 to 3+ years of consistent, stable experience in a corporate customer service, banking, financial services, or call center environment. Short-term, sporadic job-hopping on a resume will be flagged as a disqualifier.
- Flawless 5/5 Bilingualism: Complete verbal and written fluency in both English and French is mandatory. You must be entirely comfortable shifting between both languages rapidly and professionally.
- Local Residency: You must currently reside within the Greater Montreal Area and be able to easily commute to the downtown office core weekly.
- Background Cleared: You must be legally eligible to successfully pass a rigorous government-level criminal and background screening.
- Technical Literacy: Exceptional comfort working across multiple computer screens, handling 3–4 complex enterprise software systems concurrently while speaking seamlessly to clients.
