This strategic role goes beyond typical project delivery. Reporting to an AVP Program Management, you will be accountable for leading multiple, complex, multi-year programs with budgets exceeding $5 Million. Crucially, you will also be responsible for managing, mentoring, and developing a team of Project Managers, playing a direct role in elevating the organization's delivery capabilities and EPMO methodology.

Responsibilities
Project & Program Leadership
Lead project teams and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring execution within agreed-upon parameters for scope, cost, schedule, change, and quality.
Develop and deliver annual and multi-year program plans and budgets, including comprehensive resourcing strategies.
Collaborate with business sponsors and delivery partners to define project scope, priorities, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
Ensure the application of EPMO methodology and standards across all assigned projects, driving compliance and efficiency.
People Management & Development
Lead and manage project management staff, supporting their professional growth and development.
Be accountable for HR practices related to the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of top talent within your team.
Coach and guide direct reports on the effective use and application of project management tools, processes, and methodology.
Set a positive example and provide effective leadership to influence team commitment and cohesion.
Strategic Partnership & EPMO Contribution
Act as a strategic business partner, expertly collaborating with key stakeholders to drive optimal project delivery.
Ensure effective, transparent communications regarding delivery progress to manage expectations and establish meaningful relationships.
Contribute proactively to the continuous elevation of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) relative to methodology improvement and skills development.
Successfully guide the organization through change, demonstrating strong change and thought leadership.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager, working collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
A minimum of 3 years' experience working within the financial services industry.
Very good financial management experience, including complex estimation, budget tracking, forecasts, and accruals.
Proven experience delivering highly complex projects involving multiple departments, vendors, external partners, and technology integration.
Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in the application of recognized project management methodologies.
Proven experience with Organizational Change Management.
Advanced communication, negotiation, influencing, and facilitation skills, with a demonstrated ability to create 'win-win' outcomes and obtain executive-level support.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Project Online.
Desired Qualifications & Certifications
PMP – Project Management Professional certification.
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
