Responsibilities
Identify clients and immigration needs and support them on their immigration journey by finding solutions, simplifying procedures, improving and expediting the application process, and delivering an anxiety-free experience.
Conduct thorough research of immigration policies, existing programs, legislation, and case law.
Ability to leverage government resources to ensure that currently used immigration processes are intact and that appropriate immigration strategy, documents, and immigration case processing tactics are being used.
Responsible for immigration strategy determination, timely immigration strategy re-adjustment, and implementation at all times.
Provide immigration consultations to clients on immigration policies, programs, solutions, and strategies, and provide critical immigration professional advice on case-specific matters to develop and recommend a proper course of action.
Draft supporting arguments based on immigration policies, program requirements, procedures, legislation, case law, etc.
Drafting submission letters, working with relevant case law when appropriate or writing legal documents from scratch.
Immigration case package preparation and thorough review: completing and tracking support team completion of immigration applications for clients with accuracy, following the immigration case submission schedule, and following up with clients and all parties
involved regarding immigration cases.
Ensure that immigration case timelines and deadlines are being met, including and not limited to legal status, documents, reports, expiry dates and key compliance dates of the immigration case life cycle.
Be the key point of contact for client inquiries at all stages and ensure constant communication by responding to email inquiries and calls, and making regular follow-ups via email and phone in accordance with the company's communication policies and rules.
Manage client expectations regarding escalated cases by providing clear deadlines, time frames, solutions, updates and information.
Proactively providing updates to clients regarding the status of their immigration cases.
Responsible for managing assigned team departments by ensuring SLA and KPIs are always met.
Make improvement recommendations to management and support the implementation of such solutions.
Performs functional leadership.
Manage support team compliance with existing processing rules and procedures, and compliance with immigration case quality control review procedures.
Conduct and participate in regular team meetings to share knowledge, experience, contribute to the team’s growth, and discuss various immigration strategies, issues, and concerns.
Training and coordinating team members to ensure immigration processes are streamlined and efficient.
Be ready to offer and provide your support to team members at all times as we collaborate on each other’s growth.
Qualifications
Licensed RCIC in good standing
Education: Immigration Consultant Certificate
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Immigration consultant
Able to process different immigration applications: EE, Temporary resident applications, Family Sponsorship, H&C, PNP, LMIA and Work Permit applications.
Strong knowledge of Canadian Immigration laws and regulations, as well as the ability to stay up to date on changes to the law and regulations. We do not expect you to know everything. It is not possible. However, you need to possess a strong desire to grow, learn about new immigration solutions, research case law, and become a better professional.
An individual who demonstrates a sound knowledge of the eligibility requirements and criteria for permanent, temporary and other immigration programs; and, if not, is ready to navigate various program requirements and become an expert in eligibility requirements.
The ability to think constructively, creatively and outside the box to provide prospective clients with all possible options for their situation. Every immigration case has a solution, you just need to unlock it by way of research and the ability to engineer an immigration pathway for a client.
Strong ability to listen, show empathy, and connect with prospective clients. The immigration journey is a nerve-wracking journey, and it is important to assist our clients in overcoming all the struggles.
Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, as we continuously grow and embrace new partnerships and opportunities.
Strong Drafting and Research skills: Submission letters, affidavits, explanation
