Responsibilities
Teardown & Disassembly: Safely take apart complex industrial manufacturing machinery using various hand and power tools.
Deep Technical Cleaning: Meticulously clean internal compartments, gears, and components to eliminate residue and buildup.
Reassembly & Alignment: Put machinery back together flawlessly, ensuring perfect alignment for the next production cycle.
Preventative Inspection: Check machine parts for wear or damage during cleaning and report findings to supervisors to minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance: Follow strict industrial sanitization protocols and maintain a hazard-free work zone.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven background as an Industrial Cleaner, Machine Operator, or in a related manufacturing/skilled trades role.
Mechanical Aptitude: Natural comfort working with mechanical systems; proficiency with hand and power tools is a must.
Physical Capability: Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and maintain high physical stamina throughout the night shift.
Safety Gear: Must possess and wear CSA-approved steel-toed safety boots on the production floor.
Environment Fit: Comfortable working reliably on night shifts in an industrial facility with a distinct, strong rubber smell.
Communication & Detail: Strong English communication skills to follow technical safety layouts, with a sharp eye for detail during reassembly.
